Answers to the usual questions — and a person to write to when they don't cover yours.

What's the difference between a timed and an untimed workout?

Timed workouts play themselves: each exercise announces itself and counts down, hands-free. Untimed workouts are for the gym — walk through the program at your own pace, or just mark the workout done when you finish. Both earn a toy.

Does Lido keep running with the screen locked?

Yes. A playing workout keeps counting with the phone locked or the app in the background, the voice cues keep speaking, and the running timer shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

How do I share a workout?

Open the workout and tap the share icon. It travels as a link: a friend with Lido taps it and gets the program with one Add to Library button. The workout data rides inside the link itself — it never touches a server.

Why can't some workouts be shared?

A shared workout travels entirely inside its link — no server holds a copy for your friend to fetch. That means the whole program has to fit in what a message can carry, and a very long one (dozens of exercises, or paragraphs of instructions) can outgrow it. Lido says so rather than sending a link that would arrive broken. Trimming instructions, or splitting the program in two, usually lets it travel.

What's the golden toy?

Roughly one finish in twenty comes up gilded. It means nothing and changes nothing. Lucky you.

Where does my data live? How do I delete it?

Everything is on your iPhone — there's no account and no server. Delete a workout or a logbook entry in the app to remove it; delete the app to remove everything. See the privacy policy for the whole story (it's short).
